Lazzarini Design has recently released the first renderings of the 550 Italia.
Based on the Fiat 500, the model comes with a massive body kit with completely new bumpers, revised side skirts and a prominent rear wing. There's also a dual exhaust system, a roof mounted air intake and a reinforced chassis.
Motivation is provided by the same engine used in the Ferrari 458 Italia, the 4.5-liter V8, which develops 542 horsepower. Unlike the Italian supercar with 563 hp, the engine used by the tuner generates less horsepower to optimize traction.
