According to a recent report from Italy's Ansa, Fiat will give Ferrari approximately €50 million to build a new assembly line for supercharged V6 and normally aspirated V8 engines.
Those powerplants will ultimately be used in the premium luxury models from the Fiat Group, such as the Maserati Kubang, Maserati Gran Turismo, Levante, next-generation Quattroporte and a new flagship Alfa Romeo.
Addition infomation is limited, but rumors say that the supercharged V6 engine will produce 450 hp, while the aspirated V8 engine develops over 500 hp. Both could go into production by 2014.
