BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe launched in Japan

Yesterday, the German carmaker BMW has launched the 6-Series Gran Coupe in the Japanese market.
Available in two versions (the 640i and the 650i), the model has a starting price of 9,86 million yen and comes with standard features like alloy wheels (18-inch on the 640i, 19-inch on the 650i), Dakota leather upholstery, BMW Professional Navigation with a 10.2-inch high-resolution display, front and rear Park Distance Control, Keyless Go, two-zone climate control, electronic two-way steering adjustment and heated front seats.
The 640i version is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine with 315 hp between 5,800-6,000 rpm and 330 lb-ft of torque between 1,300-4,500 rpm, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 5.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 155 mph.
Meanwhile, the more powerful 650i has a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 445 hp between 5,500-6,000 rpm and 480 lb-ft of torque between 2,000-4,500 rpm. This allows it to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.
