Mercedes-Benz has recently introduced a new variant of the M-class lineup, called the ML 500 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY.

According to the German carmaker, the new crossover is powered by a turbocharged 4.7-liter V8 engine with 402 hp and 600 Nm of torque. It is mated to a seven-speed 7G-TRONIC PLUS transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. In terms of efficiency, the model returns 32.9 - 34.4 mpg US (24.6 - 25.7 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of 258 - 269 g/km. It's 16 percent more fuel efficient than the standard model.

In Germany, the 2013 ML500 has a starting price of €75,029 (including 19% VAT/TAX), with first deliveries will begin in the fall.
