Accordingly, the entry-level version has a starting price of $14,545, which is $2,000 more expensive than the 2012 model. It comes with standard features like air conditioning, AM/FM/SiriusXM Satellite Radio/CD/MP3 audio system with 6 speakers, iPod/USB auxiliary input jacks, power and heated side mirrors, body-colored door handles, sunglass holder and remote keyless entry.

Meanwhile, the higher grade Accent SE adds side mirrors with turn signal indicators and an optional sunroof.

Under the hood, the 2013 Hyundai Accent is powered by a 1.6-liter Gamma engine with direct-injection, delivering 138 hp. It is mated to a six-speed automatic or manual transmission, allowing the car to return 40 mpg on the highway.
