North American carmaker Ford has recently introduced the 2013 F-150 SVT Raptor.

Developed using experience gained from competing in the Baja 1000 desert race series, the model features optional HID headlights that will help increase visibility for the driver at night and forged-aluminum wheels wrapped in beadlock capable tires. As Ford explains, the "Raptor's wheels are unique because converting from conventional rim to beadlock only requires that customers unbolt the standard outer decorative ring, dismount the tire from its regular position and then remount the tire in the lock-enabled position with the available beadlock ring kit from Ford Racing."

Inside, the cabin comes with a new 4.2-inch multifunction LCD display located in the dashboard, a power-adjustable driver’s seat and a leather-lined steering wheel with thumb pads. The truck can also be equipped with the MyFord Touch infotainment system that has an 8-inch touchscreen display with five-way controls mounted on the steering wheel and an available voice-activated navigation system.

Motivation is provided by a 6.2-liter V8 engine with 411 hp and 588 Nm of torque. It is mated to an electronic six-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system.
