After its debut at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show, GM has recently released initial specifications of the 2013 Buick Verano Turbo.
According to the North American carmaker, the turbocharged version will be powered by a direct injection Ecotec 2.0-liter turbo engine with 250 hp at 5,300 rpm and 353 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds - half a second quicker than the 270 hp Regal GS.
Pricing and official fuel economy ratings will be announced closer to the market launch later this year.
