Volkswagen has recently announced the pricing for the Golf GTI Cabrio in the United Kingdom.
Accordingly, the high-performance model has a starting price of £29,310 for the manual and £30,610 for the DSG. It is distinguished by new bumpers, a honeycomb grille, smoked LED tail lights, aerodynamic side skirts and a rear diffuser. There's also tinted taillights, side sill extensions, a dual exhaust system and 18-inch 'Monza Shadow' alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin comes with classic tartan ‘Jacara’ cloth upholstery, a flat-bottom leather steering wheel, handbrake and gear lever gaiter, stainless steel pedals and black ‘Edge' trim.
Under the hood, the car is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 210 hp and 280 Nm of torque. The engine can be paired to a six-speed manual or a six-speed DSG transmission, allowing it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 235 km/h.
In terms of efficiency, the model returns 37.2 mpg UK for the manual and 36.7 mpg UK for the DSG, with CO2 emissions of 177 g/km and 180 g/km respectively.
According to the German carmaker, the Golf GTI Cabrio is currently available for order and will go on sale this July.
