The Skoda Rapid prototype has recently been spotted by a member of CarSpyShots.net forums.
Accordingly, the compact sedan was photographed on a highway in Czech Republic, approximately 100 km from the company’s plant near Mlada Boleslav.
As a small reminder, the Rapid has been previewed as the MissionL concept at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show and measures 4,390 mm long, 1,700 mm wide and 1,400 mm tall. It will be available with a choice of two 103 hp engines: a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter petrol and a 1.6 TDI diesel.
The all-new Skoda Rapid will be launched in Europe by the end of the current year and followed by China in 2013. The model will fill the gap between the Fabia and the Octavia.
