Volkswagen has recently released a new promotional video for the 2013 Golf GTI Cabrio.
Set to go on sale in Europe from mid June, the model comes with safety equipment like the XDS system, the ESP, limited slip differential, front side and knee airbags. The GTI model's electro-hydraulic cloth top can be operated while driving at speeds of up to 30 km/h.
Under the hood, the Golf GTI Cabrio is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 207 hp and 280 Nm of torque. The power is send to the front wheels via a standard six-speed manual or an optional dual-clutch DGS transmission. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 237 km/h (DSG: 235 km/h).
