General Motors has recently confirmed that the brand will not advertise any of products at the 2013 Super Bowl.

Joel Ewanick, Global Chief Marketing Officer, said "We understand the reach the Super Bowl provides, but with the significant increase in price, we simply can't justify the expense."

The 2013 Super Bowl will be broadcast by CBS Corp and the price will be increased by  9 percent, to about $4 million (€3.1 million) for a 30 second spot. It's interesting that GM is pulling out entirely.
