BMW has officially introduced the Zagato coupe concept at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.

Developed in collaboration with the Italian coachbuilder Zagato, the bespoke model is based on the current BMW Z4 and is finished in exclusive Rosso Vivace paint. It features a handcrafted aluminum body with a long bonnet, a double bubble roof, a kidney-shaped radiator grille and more muscular rear fenders. There's also a distinctive rear end, a dual exhaust system and 19-inch alloy wheels.

Interior changes are limited, but the cabin has been equipped with exquisite materials and high-quality details, such as leather and Alcantara upholstery, embroidered headrests and red contrast stitching.

There is no technical information on the powertrain, but the German carmaker says the concept uses a high-performance engine, mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
