The Audi TT-RS Plus has recently been launched in the United Kingdom for a starting price of £48,945.
Compared to the standard TT-RS, the Plus version adds carbon fiber reinforced polymer mirrors, single frame radiator grille with a matt aluminum surround and anthracite, a standard sports exhaust system with black tail pipes and 19-inch TT-RS wheels with red accents. Other equipment includes satellite navigation, Audi Music Interface iPod connection and Bluetooth phone preparation.
Under the bonnet, power comes from a 2.5-liter five-cylinder TFSI with 360 hp and 465 Nm of torque - an increase of 20 hp and 15 Nm. The engine can be mated to a manual or an S tronic twin clutch transmission, allowing it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds in the coupe and hit a top speed of 280 km/h. The car has a combined fuel economy rating of 33.2 mpg UK.
According to the German carmaker, the Audi TT-RS Plus will be available to order from early May and first deliveries are expected in the summer.
