Audi has recently announced the Q3 Red Track and e-bike concepts will be introduced at the 2012 Worthersee Tour.
According to the German carmaker, the Q3 Red Track is a revised version of the Q3 Vail concept which originally debuted at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. The concept is distinguished by new body-color paint on the lower portion of the LED daytime running lights.
Motivation is provided by a 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbocharged engine with 335 hp and 450 Nm of torque - 25 hp and 50 Nm more than the Vail concept. The engine is mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive system, allowing the mode to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 263 km/h.
Meanwhile, the e-bike concept has an ultra-light carbon-fiber frame that tips the scales at an impressively low 1,600 grams (3.53 lbs) and 26-inch CFRP wheels that only weigh 600 grams (1.32 lb) each. Power comes from a 48 volt lithium-ion battery and a 3 hp electric motor. This allows the 21 kg bike to travel up to 50-70 km at speeds up to 80 km/h. The battery can be fully recharged from a 230 V supply in two and a half hours.
