The Audi A4 facelift has recently been launched in India for a starting price of Rs.27.33 lakhs (€38,000).
According to the German carmaker, the 2012 model is available in three versions: the A4 1.8 TFSI (Rs.27.33 lakhs - €38,000), the A4 2.0 TDI (Rs.29,38 lakhs - €41,850) and the A4 3.0 TDI Quattro (Rs.38 lakhs - €54,100). In the local cycle, Audi has promised a 10 percent improvement in fuel economy.
Under the hood, four engines are available, the 1.8-liter TFSI produces 170 hp, two diesel 2.0-liter TDI options and the top 3.0-liter TDI. The engine is mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission or an eight-speed multitronic CVT.
