New details are starting to emerge about the 2014 Chevrolet SS Performance Sedan.
According to a report from GM Inside News, the car will be based on the Holden Commodore SS-V and will be released early next year at the the Detroit Auto Show. There is still some inconsistency regarding the production time, but the North American carmaker says that it could go into production in the fall of 2013 and be imported in limited quantities.
Power will reportedly be provided by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine with approximately 426 hp and 569 Nm of torque, mated to an automatic transmission.
