Mercedes-Benz has just released the pricing for the 2013 SL-Class Roadster in the UK.
Set to hit UK dealerships in June, the entry-level SL 350 has a starting price of £72,495 and is powered by a BlueDirect 3.5-liter V6 engine with 306 hp at 6,500 rpm and 370 Nm of torque between 3,500-5,250 rpm. This allows the two-seater to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
Meanwhile, the SL 500 will start at £83,445 and features a BlueDirect 5.0-liter V8 engine with 429 hp at 5,250 rpm and 700 Nm of torque between 1,800-3,500 rpm. This allows the 1,785 kg car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
Both models come with a comprehensive array of innovative safety such as attention assist, adaptive brake, a FrontBass system, an adaptive windscreen wipe/wash system and leather sport seats.
In addition, the German carmaker also says that the V8 SL63 AMG and the V12 SL65 AMG will be launched by the end of the current year.
