Top 10 best selling cars in April in the U.S. market witnessed a dramatic change.
First up, Nissan Altima sales dropped drastically and it has disappeared from the top 10 list. Although the Japanese carmaker has applied the big incentives, but perhaps customers are waiting for the arrival of its new generation. Instead, shoppers drifted toward the Honda Accord (gained 25.6% last month) and the Toyota Prius (gained 101.7% last month).
Next, the Chevrolet Malibu is this month's other newcomer. Malibu sales are down, but April 2011 was a wonderful month for the sedan.
Lastly, the aging Toyota Corolla stayed in the top 10, while rivals (such as the Hyundai Elantra and the Chevy Cruze) have sales down more than 20%.
