In a recent interview, Lamborghini CEO Stefan Winkelmann has revealed the brand is still considering a production version of the Estoque concept, which was unveiled at the 2008 Paris Motor Show.
Speaking with Autoweek, he said "It [the Estoque] was placed on hold because of a number of reasons, including the lack of a suitable platform. We haven't given up on the idea of a sedan entirely, but we see more potential in a sport-utility vehicle encapsulating typical Lamborghini attributes."
With the Urus Concept having just been released, Lamborghini are holding off making the choice between a Saloon and an SUV. It's a choice between continuing brand traditions against taking it in a new direction.
