The Ford Ecosport has just been unveiled at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show in China.
Based on the Fiesta, the Ecosport is designed as a global fuel-efficient car for markets like China, India, Thailand and South America and is actually a step of the brand’s commitment to introduce 15 new models in China by 2015.
Under the hood, the SUV is powered by a new 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine with 118 hp and 125 lb-ft of torque. The Ford Ecosport is made at the North American carmaker’s plant in China.
