Porsche has just revealed the first images and details of the 2013 Cayenne GTS, ahead of its debut at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show.
Available in two exterior colors (Carmine Red or Peridot Metallic), the 2013 Cayenne GTS is powered by an uprated 4.8-litre V8 engine with 420 hp at 6,500 rpm and 380 lb-ft of torque, based on the Cayenne S power unit. The power is transmitted to the all-wheel drive via an eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission with integrated auto start/stop function. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, 0-160 km/h in 13.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 261 km/h, while the combined fuel consumption 10.7-litre per 100 km.
The specially tuned chassis ensures thrilling driving dynamics. It is more tuned, equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and lowers the body by 24mm relative to the Cayenne S. As a result, the 2013 Cayenne GTS is even closer to the road.
The 2013 Porsche Cayenne GTS goes on sale in July 2012 with a price tag in Germany of €90,774 including tax.
