Fiat has just released the first details of the 2013 Viaggio, ahead of its debut at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show later this month.
Based on the Dodge Dart, the compact sedan rides on the CUSW (Compact US Wide) platform and features a chrome grille, sweptback headlights, integrated rear spoiler, LED-infused taillights and a revised interior.
Power comes from a 1.4-liter T-Jet engine with outputs of 120 hp and 150 hp. Both engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual or a Dual Dry Clutch Transmission (DDTC) automatic.
The model will be built at the company's assembly plant in the Changsha Economic Zone, Hunan province. The first cars will be produced starting July.
The Italian carmaker says that the 2013 Viaggio will go on sale in China under the Fiat-Guangzhou brand in the third-quarter of 2012.
