2013 Audi A3 launched in the Netherlands

The 2013 Audi A3 has recently been launched in the Netherlands for a starting price of €25,650.

According to the German carmaker, the model will be available in three versions in this country. The 1.4 TFSI six-speed starts at €25,650, the 1.8 TFSI S tronic will cost €32,400, while the 2.0 TDI six-speed is priced at €30,250. In which, the 1.4-liter TFSI entry-level generates 121 hp and 200 Nm of torque, the 1.8-liter TFSI develops 177 hp and 250 Nm of torque, while the 2.0-liter TDI diesel produces 148 hp and 320 Nm of torque.

As a small reminder, the 2013 A3 is actually the first vehicle to use the new MQB platform (Modular Transverse Matrix) which will underpin more future Audi A3 models as well as the next-generation Volkswagen Golf. The company also says that the three-door version is the first one to make an appearance. It is 80 kg lighter than the predecessor and measures 4,237 mm long, 1,777 mm wide and 1,421 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,601 mm.
