Along with the 2012 S7 Sportback, Audi has also announced the pricing for the 2012 S8 in the United Kingdom.
According to the German carmaker, the luxurious saloon will soon arrive in the UK and has a starting price of £77,900. The interior gets standard leather, an Alcantara headlining, a DVD changer, LED headlights, MMI navigation and a premium sound system with an 8-inch display and WLAN connectivity.
Under the hood, the new S8 is powered by a 4.0-liter twin turbo engine with 520 hp and 650 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the Quattro all-wheel drive system via an eight-speed tiptronic transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. The model returns 28.0 mpg on the combined cycle, while the CO2 emissions stop at 235 g/km.
