Range Rover Evoque Convertible

Land Rover has recently released an official video for the Range Rover Evoque Convertible. The clip shows the Convertible is hitting the streets of London and the UK countryside.

Based on the three-door Evoque, the concept features a retractable soft top with a roll-over protection and 21-inch alloy wheels. Inside, there's also leather seats, a Meridian audio system and an infotainment system with 8-inch dual view touch screen.

The British carmaker admits that there are no current plans to put the Evoque convertible into production. If the model is eventually green-lighted, it could reach showrooms in a couple of years and would be offered with the same four-cylinder diesel and gasoline engines as the hard-top model with the option of two or four-wheel drive.

John Edwards, Land Rover Global Brand Director said: “The Evoque Convertible Concept is a new twist to the Evoque story and explores the potential to further extend the nameplate’s appeal by giving existing customers more choice, whilst at the same time reaching out to a completely new customer base. We are excited to see the response to this concept as we assess the potential for building on the Evoque’s exceptional success so far.“
