After accidentally leaked on Wednesday, Nissan has officially released an official teaser video for the 2013 Altima, ahead of its official debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show in April.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the model is being described as "innovative" with a "bold design" and "has a low, wide stance and sculpted profile that makes for quite a dynamic appearance". Previous photos of the car have shown an evolutionary styling with angular headlights, a chrome grille and swoopy character lines.
Technically, the 2013 Altima is expected to come with an upgraded CVT transmission to boost the fuel economy ratings and a brand-new hybrid system that utilizes a 2.5-liter supercharged four-cylinder gasoline engine, an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery.
