Mercedes-Benz has recently launched a funny commercial for the 2013 SL63 AMG starring Tennis legend Boris Becker.
We do not want to say anything because it would spoil the fun so check out the video, but only want to remind you that the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG features the familiar M157 twin-turbocharged 5.5 liter V8 engine with 529 horsepower, mated to a seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT transmission. Thanks to the all-aluminum bodyshell and assorted magnesium components, the new roadster is 110 kg (242 pounds) lighter than its steel bodied predecessor. This allows it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h 4.3 seconds (4.2 seconds with the AMG Performance Pack). Fuel consumption is 30% lower at 28.5 mpg and CO2 emissions of 231 g/km compared to 328 g/km for the previous generation.
