BMW has officially confirmed the US-spec X1 and the M6 Convertible will be presented at the 2012 New York Auto Show next month.
According to the German carmaker, the revised X1 will be offered in the U.S. for the first time with its new 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder gasoline engine. Models are scheduled to arrive in dealerships in the summer.
Meanwhile, the M6 Cabrio is powered by a 4.4-liter V8 engine with 560 hp, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission in standard. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.3 seconds and hit a limited top speed of 155 mph (or 189 mph with the optional M Driver’s Package).
