The SsangYong Actyon Sports has recently been launched in Australia, with a starting price of AU$26,990.

Produced to cater to the needs of the driver “who needs a vehicle that keeps up with their work as much as their play”, the new Actyon Sports is 4, 990 mm long, 1,910 mm wide and 1,790 mm tall, with a 3,060 mm wheelbase, making it 25 mm longer, 10 mm wider and 25-35 mm taller than the model it replaces.

According to the South Korean carmaker, the car features a hexagonal mesh radiator grille finished in chrome, front fog lights, chrome trimming for the headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels and the tray offers an area of two square meters. Inside, the cabin comes with leather-wrapped steering wheel, manual air conditioning, floor mats, cloth seats and heated front seats. There's also USB input and Bluetooth phone connectivity and a four-speaker audio system CD player.

The model is available in three trim levels, the Actyon Tradie, with two or four-wheel drive, the Actyon Sports with two or four-wheel drive and the Actyon Sports SPR with all-wheel drive.

The SsangYong Actyon Sports is powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine with 104 kW and 310 Nm of torque between 1,500-2,800 rpm. This allows the Actyon Tradie and the Actyon Sports versions to burn an average of 8.0-liter of fuel per 100 km and 8.7-liter of fuel per 100 km in the Actyon Sports SPR version.
