According to a new report from Autocar, Volkswagen is considering a smaller CC, which will based on the current Jetta.
The German carmaker did not confirmed this information, but a Volkswagen source revealed to British magazine "Our research suggests there is increasingly a market for a sportier and more stylish version of the Jetta in the mould of the CC only smaller and more affordable. From the feedback we've received so far buyers want an individual bodystyle and the practicality of four doors."
Rumors says that it currently carries the internal name of SC (Sport Coupe) and it will be first in a new wave of Jetta models to be based on the company’s MQB (Modularen Querbau) platform, which found beneath the all-new Audi A3
The all-new Volkswagen Jetta CC will hit the market in 2014 as a 2015 model year.
