According to a new report from Automotive News, the 6th generation Chevrolet Camaro will hit the market in the fall of 2015.
The report says that the new Camaro will be inspired by the second generation model and rides on GM’s new Alpha platform, which will also underpin the 2013 Cadillac ATS. So the next Camaro has been widely expected to be smaller and lighter.
Additional infomation is limited, but the model will reportedly feature an 6.2-liter V8 engine with direct-injection. It is mated to a seven-speed manual transmission or a dual-clutch automatic from the 2014 Corvette.
