Volkswagen has recently presented the Polo BlueGT, which is the first vehicle made by the brand to come with the cylinder deactivation system, in Geneva today.
Positioned as an extremely fuel-efficient and sporty vehicle, the model is distinguished by with new 17-inch alloy wheels, GT badges front and rear, dual tailpipes, Polo GTI body kit including rear spoiler, rear bumper with diffuser, daytime running lights, fog lights, a black painted grille, 15mm lower suspension, R-line bumper vents and black side mirrors.
Inside, the cabin is basically a Polo GTi, but includes bespoke BlueGT sports seats and leather-trimmed steering wheel with BlueGT emblem.
Power comes from a new 1.4-liter TSI engine with 140 horsepower. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission (DSG), allowing the small compact to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 210 km/h. It returns an efficiency of 4.5-liter per 100 km (62.8 US mpg) and emitting just 105 g/km of CO2.
