The German carmaker Volkswagen has recently unveiled the Amarok Canyon concept in Geneva.

Designed specifically for freestyle kayakers, the pickup has a Baladi Orange exterior with flared wheel arches and a 40mm body lift kit with big AT tyres. There's also roof-mounted auxiliary lights, electrically deployed tread plates, tinted taillights and the colour-contrasting underbody protection. Out back, the two carbon fibre kayaks are mounted to the cargo floor and a set of paddles.

Inside, the cabin has two-tone leather seats, auxiliary gauges, a three-spoke steering wheel and gear shift lever trim with orange accents.

Under the hood, the Amarok Canyon concept is powered by a 2.0-liter bi-turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine with 180 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a manual transmission and a 4MOTION all-wheel drive system with a reduction gearbox and a locking rear differential.
