Renault has just presented the production version of the Zoe all-electric at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
According to the French automaker, the entry-level Zoe Life has a starting price of €15,700 (including tax in France) and features an integrated Renault R-Link multimedia tablet, automatic climate control and a Chameleon battery charger as standard equipment. Meanwhile, the Zen and Intens, the two high-end versions, will start at €17,500.
Tax-paid battery lease prices will start from €79 per month (for a contract covering 12,500 km/year over a period of 36 months).
Renault says that the electric powertrain in the ZOE provides a range of 210 Km in the absolute ideal condition, but the real world range is just 100 km in cold conditions and 150 km in mild weather. The Zoe is the first electric vehicle capable of being charged at any power level up to 43kW in between 30 minutes and a good 9 hours with the Chameleon charger. In addition, the Zoe's battery can be charged in approximately one hour at 22kW fast-charge stations.
The Renault Zoe will go in sale in Europe this autumn.
