The Maserati GranTurismo Sport has been presented to the public at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
Built to replace the GranTurismo S, the model has a new front bumper with restyled headlamps, restyled tail lamps and a new exterior color, named the Blue Sofisticato. Inside, the revised cabin comes with new seats and a new steering wheel.
Under the hood, the GranTurismo S is powered by a 4.7-liter V8 engine with 453 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. In Europe, the engine is mated to a new six-speed automatic transmission, while the ZF six-speed will be available in the U.S. The sports car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 186 mph.
The Maserati GranTurismo Sport will go on sale in 2012.
