Renault Group's Romanian brand Dacia has recently unveiled the Lodgy MPV at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
Set to go on sale in Europe later this year, the model has a rounded front fascia, a prominent grille, distinctive headlights and unique taillights. Inside, the cabin comes with an optional seven-inch display navigation system for just €430, Bluetoothconnectivity, a radio, auxiliary sockets (for MP3 players, etc), steering wheel controls for the audio system, gloss black trim and metallic accents.
The Lodgy has one of the biggest boots in its segment, with capacity ranging from 207-liter in seven-seat configuration, 827-liter for five-seater and 2,617-liter with the 2nd and 3rd row folded down.
Under the hood, there are two petrol and two diesel engines: a 105 hp 1.6-liter petrol, a 115 hp 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-liter diesel with 90 hp and 110 hp. The entry-level Lodgy will start at €9,900 (about $13,300), a revolutionary price for a MPV.
