Four Volkswagen Up! concepts to debut in Geneva


Volkswagen has announced plans to present four new Up! concepts at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

First up, the Swiss Up is designed to pay tribute to Geneva and Switzerland. The concept features the colors of the Switzerland flag with Tornado red and white porcelain. Inside, the cabin comes with a ceramic colored leather, a white dashboard facia and incorporates pockets for Victorinox Swiss Army Knives.

Next, the Winter Up is based on the four-door Cross Up concept and is designed for winter sports. It features snowboards on the roof that can hold up to four boards and ESP with electronic differential lock. The concept is available in two colors, Pure White and Malibu Blue paint, plus the raised ride height and underbody protection, along with front-wheel drive.

Moving on to the X Up, which is also based on the Cross Up! and features a roof box that comes with built-in searchlights and underbody guards for the front and the rear end. The concept is painted in Burned Orange Metallic and comes with two-tone interior.

Lastly, the Cargo Up was made for city deliveries, pizza delivery, offering 1,400-liter of space. It is weighing 929 kg, being able to transport 426 kg, and is distinguished by its red tornado livery on the exterior and all the rear windows have a dark tint. The model comes with the entry-level 50 hp engine.
