Ford has announced plans to introduce the 2013 Kuga and the production Fiesta ST on the eve of the 2012 Geneva Motor Show on March 5.
The carmaker didn’t go into details, but the Kuga will be basically identical to the 2013 Escape and brings the latest evolution of the company's Kinetic styling language. Three different petrol engines are offered in North America, but Ford has previously stated the European Kuga will offer some diesel options.
Lastly, the production version of the Fiesta ST was previewed by a concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It features an aerodynamic body kit, new grille design, a sport-tuned suspension, revised headlights and a dual exhaust system. Power comes from a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine with 177 hp and 240 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 7 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 220 km/h.
