Fisker Automotive has recently released a design sketch preview of the new Project Nina, ahead of its official debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show next month.
According to the carmaker, the Project Nina is an entry-level sedan with an electric powertrain and BMW turbo 4-cylinder range-extender engine, as in the Karma, but it will be lighter, a bit faster and also cheaper than the Karma.
Despite the fact that Fisker received a huge blow after the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) froze the company's access to a $359 million for its production ($169 million for the Karma), but the announcement of this debut seems to be right on schedule.
The Fisker Project Nina will target a price somewhere between $50,000 and $60,000.
