According to an official statement from Dacia, the Duster SUV will be launched in the United Kingdom, in right-hand drive, in early 2013.
The Romanian carmaker also says that the model will cost less than £10,000 for the front-wheel drive and £12,500 for the all-wheel drive.
Under the hood, three engines are available, with either a 108 hp 1.6-liter 16V petrol engine or 84 hp and 104 hp 1.5-liter diesels. The car emits just 140 g of CO2 every km in the two-wheel drive version, while the all-wheel drive model is 150 g/km.
The Dacia Duster will be built in right-hand drive model for the first time at the new Renault-Nissan Alliance factory in India.
