Here are the first pictures of the Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera Disco Volante 2012 concept, which will be unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next week.
Based on the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione supercar platform, the concept is designed in order to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the 1952 Alfa Romeo Disco Volante. It features a handcrafted aluminum bodywork with a long hood, double wishbone suspension, a distinctive rear end and a more modern design with carbon fiber.
Power comes from a longitudinally mounted 4.7-liter V8 with 450 hp 353 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox with paddle-shifters behind the steering wheel.
