2013 GMC Terrain Denali revealed

General Motors has unveiled the 2013 GMC Terrain Denali.
According to to North America carmaker, the Denali version is distinguished by a new chrome grille, satin chrome accents, different headlamp and taillight designs. There's also a chromed exhaust system, body-colored bumpers and 18-inch alloy wheels for the 4-cylinder model (19-inchers on V6).
Inside, the cabin comes with Denali-embossed leather seats, a touchscreen infotainment system, a soft-touch instrument panel with French stitching and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with mahogany wood accents. Other highlights include Denali logos on the front seat backs, illuminated front sill plates and eight-way power driver.
Under the hood, two engines are available, the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine produces 182 hp and 233 Nm of torque, while the 3.6-liter V6 engine develops 301 hp and 369 Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and an optional all-wheel drive system.
Pricing and availability for the 2013 Terrain Denali will be announced closer to its launch in the third quarter of 2012.
In an official press release, Tony DiSalle, U.S. vice president of GMC Marketing said ”Denali is growing fast. With seven different models, sales for this brand within a brand increased 79% from 2010 to 2011. With this in mind, the decision to create a more-upscale Terrain was an easy one.”
