2012 Volkswagen CC launched in the UK

After being officially unveiled last year at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the right-hand drive version of the 2012 Volkswagen CC has recently been launched in the United Kingdom, with a starting price of £24,200.
According to the German carmaker, the CC facelift is available in 10 trim levels in the UK and comes with a choice of four engines, the 1.8-liter TSI (petrol) with 160 hp, the 2.0-liter TSI with 210 hp and the 2.0-liter TDI diesel with 140 hp, while the top of the line 170 hp 2.0-liter TDI diesel, which comes with a six-speed DSG gearbox and BlueMotion Technolog, will start at £30,100.
Some new technologies and features on the new CC, like a camera which is detecting road signs and a system which is adjusting the headlights according to other vehicles on the road, named the Dynamic Light Assist. In addition, the Side Assist Plus with Lane Assist are responsible for watching the driving lane and the dead angle, while the seats can be equipped with massage or climate features.
