Hyundai has just revealed first images and details for the i20 facelift, ahead of its official debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show tomorrow.
Just as expected the model comes with a new front fascia with a hexagonal grille, a new bumper and a different hood that 'hugs' the front fenders. There's also a reflector, new headlamps, new rear bumper and tail lamps, plus new alloy wheel designs. According to the South Korean automaker, the 2012 i20 is 3,995 mm long, 1,710 mm wide, 1,490 mm tall and a wheelbase of 2,525 mm.
Under the hood, the Hyundai i20 facelift is powered by a new 1.1-liter 3-cylinder U-II diesel engine with 75 hp. Incorporating Hyundai Blue Drive technologies, the car can emit just 84 g/km of CO2. A more powerful diesel engine will also be offered, this 1.4-liter U-II engine produces 90 hp and emits 96 g/km.
