2012 Hyundai i-oniq Concept revealed

Hyundai has recently released the first image of the i-oniq concept, ahead of its official debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next week.
According to the South Korean automaker, the concept is three-door hatchback which measures 4.4 m in length and is previewing the future of the company with the Fluidic Sculpture design language.
Power comes from a range-extended electric drivetrain consisting of a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that powers a generator and and a 108 hp electric motor. Hyundai says that the i-oniq concept could travel 120 km on electricity alone, but with the help of the range extender, it will travel for 700 km on a full tank.
More details will be unveiled next Tuesday.
