Dodge has recently introduced the 2012 Challenger Rallye Redline at the Spring Festival of LXs in Irvine, California.

Based on the 2012 Challenger SXT Plus, the special version of the Challenger is distinguished by a full-length body stripe, a rear spoiler and 20-inch alloy wheels with 245/45R20 Firestone Firehawk tires. There's also a sport-tuned suspension, larger performance disc brakes and a 3.06:1 rear axle ratio instead of the original 2.65:1.

Inside, the cabin comes with leather sport seats, heated front seats, a thick-rimmed steering wheel and a Mopar gear shift lever. There's also automatic climate control, cruise control, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and a Boston Acoustics audio system.

Power comes from a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 305 hp at 6,350 rpm and 363 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. It is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission which allows the model to return 27 mpg on the highway (US).

The Challenger Rallye Redline is available in four colors (Bright Silver Metallic, Tungsten Metallic, Bright White and Pitch Black) and will be launched next month with pricing starts at $28,745 (excluding a $925 destination charge).
