Dodge has recently announced the pricing for the 2012 Avenger SE V6.

Accordingly, the model will start at $22,345, including an $850 destination charge - $2,500 less than the previous V6 model, the $23,995 SXT Plus.

According to the North American automaker, the 2012 Avenger SE V6 comes with standard features, like LED taillamps, premium interior with soft-touch surfaces, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, electronic stability control with traction control and keyless entry, advanced multi-stage driver and front passenger air bags, side-curtain and front seat-mounted side airbags, laminated front windshield and front-row side glass, power locks, power mirrors, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, premium cloth seats, speed control, telescoping steering wheel with integrated audio and speed controls, outside temperature display in gauge cluster and CD with four speakers. There's also 18-inch alloy wheels, dual exhaust with chrome tips and a body-color rear spoiler.

Power comes from a 3.6-liter Pentastar engine with 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, while returning a highway fuel economy rating of 29mpg. The entry-level 2012 Dodge Avenger has a five-year / 100,000-mile powertrain warranty.
