Roding Automobile has announced it will introduce the Roding Roadster at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show on March 6.
According to the carmaker, the model is a two seat mid-engine sports car and features a fiberglass body, a carbon fiber reinforced plastic chassis and a removable roof. Thanks to its lightweight design, the total curb weight is kept low at 950 kg.
The Roadster is powered by a BMW turbocharged six-cylinder engine with 320 hp and 450 Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed manual transmission which sends power to rear wheels through a limited-slip differential. Deliveries are scheduled to begin right after the Geneva Motor Show.
