The report says that the model will be distinguished by an aggressive body kit, a roof spoiler, large alloy wheels, a dual exhaust system and larger foglights. The interior comes with sport seats, unique trim and GTi badges.
Power will come from a turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine from the MINI Cooper S. It produces 184 hp and 240 Nm of torque, allowing the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than seven seconds.
There’s no official release date for the Peugeot 208 GTi, but it could debut as early as the Geneva Motor Show.
