Maserati has announced it will recall 1,768 GranTurismo models in North America for an issue with faulty tail lamps.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the 2008-2012 Maserati GranTurismo models have been assembled with a defective rear lamp assembly. So the brake lights could then fail to illuminated, potentially causing an accident.
The Italian sports car will receive a free recall once the campaign begins this month. Owners may contact Maserati or NHTSA for more information on the subject.
